Project is due NEXT Friday, the 13th.

1. Creation Book

~ Create a mini-book

~ Timeline illustrated in the textbook: page 91

~ Make each time period a page of the book

~ Each page should have

         * a picture of what happened

         * a paragraph describing what's happening

         * the Bible verses of the event

~ Be ready to present in the classroom, using the overhead projector!

~ Here are some examples of what the book could look like:

2. Noah's Flood Poster

~ Create a construction-paper size project

~ Show the timeline of Noah's Flood from the Bible

~ Summarize what happened on each day

~ Write the verses' address referenced for each event

~ Have your project be colorful and imaginative (e.g., each day is a raindrop with the Ark as the background; make a baby-type mobile with the Ark as the top and the raindrops describing each day hanging from it, etc.)

~ Here are the days for the timeline (I did a couple days for you as an example of the summary)...

         * Day 0: Noah boards the Ark with animals, provisions, and his family (Gen. 7:1-9)

         * Day 7: God closes the door, the foundations of the deep burst forth, and torrential rain falls (Gen. 7:10-12)

         * Day 47: The rain stops, the mountains are covered by at least 27 feet of water, all air-breathing animals outside the Ark are dead (Gen. 7:12-22)

         * Day 157

         * Day 227

         * Day 267

         * Day 274

         * Day 281

         * Day 316

         * Day 371

3. Research the Different Worldviews

~ Research the different scientific worldviews

~ Use the book to help you

         * Evolutionist: pgs 92-105

         * Creationist: pgs 106-114

~ Create a Report

         * Option 1:  Create a 5 paragraph essay comparing and contrasting the two worldviews

         * Option 2: Create a construction-paper size poster of the differences and similarities between the two worldviews.  Some examples of what it could look like are here:
