MobyMax as Homework...

I will be collecting homework grades via the program Moby Max.

This is just a website that can be accessed anywhere you have access to the internet!

Students are required to do one hour of work weekly

     - that's 10 minutes for six nights

     - 15 minutes for four nights

     - 30 minutes for two nights

     - 60 minutes in one night

     - How often you do the program doesn't matter, the total is what matters!!

Go to www.mobymax.com

     - Click the "sign-in" button at the top
     - Type "Tallavana" and push the "find" button
     - Students were given their log-in today!

     - Click on the "book" icon at the top  

     - Click on the "Science" or "Social Studies" icon and work on the lessons presented

     - Remember, I will be able to tell if you're just clicking through, or actually doing the work!

Announcements (08Jan'25)...

Welcome back.  I pray your Christmas Break was restful.

The school has been without internet for some time now!  They are working diligently to fix it, but it's been a struggle.  That being said, the three of us will update GradeLink with assignments listed in the TeacherPages announcements section.  Please let your homeroom teacher know if you are struggling to access GradeLink.  

I will update the blog here.  Be advised, this is only assignments that pertain to my classes:

6th: Bible, Science, History, Vocab

7th: Science

8th: Science

Books:  be sure your student has their books for class. I will be doing an inventory on Monday.  Remember, most books cost $77.50.  If your child has lost their book, you will have to buy a new one.  Please encourage them to find the book by Monday!!

Spirit Week Schedule...

NEXT WEEK (Dec. 16th-20th)

Monday (full day): Jeans and Christmas T-shirts

Tuesday (half-day): Head-to-toe White clothing

* Movie Night in the back field @ 6pm

* $3 due by THIS Friday!!

Wednesday (half-day): Stuffed animals and PJs

Thursday (half-day): Wear light-up jewelry, tinsel, gift wrap, garland, etc.

Friday (half-day): Let's all wear red t-shirts for a class photo in front of the tree!!

* Christmas Pageant @ 9am

* Christmas Party: after the Play...I supply the chicken nuggets, the children plan the rest (sides, dessert, drinks, gift exchange, etc.)
